Hosting refers to the actual servers where website databases are stored or "hosted." Every website on the internet has a hosting provider. In order for work to begin on a website, and for a website to be installed, you must have in advance a paid or self-hosted website hosting account already set up with a company such as Go Daddy, Blue Host, Host Gator, or other well-known reputable professional-level hosting company. Discount or bargain hosting companies often do not have technical support or offer cut-rate limited services and often are time-consuming to work through. If you don't have hosting already established, we recommend choosing Go Daddy, Blue Host, or Host Gator, in that order.
